Why you need to fix postural imbalance
The three body types that were most frequently encountered by evaluating the body types of numerous people are as follows:
1. The pelvis is pushed forward (first photo)
2. The pelvis is pushed sideways (second picture)
3. Pelvic rotation to one side (third photo)
The underlying cause behind all three types is insufficient abdominal pressure due to a weak core as described in the video below. As you can see, it can cause not only postural imbalance but also a variety of musculoskeletal problems.
In fact, there is limited scientific evidence that body asymmetry causes pain. However, it is true that muscles that are not in a neutral position cannot function 100%, which can lead to possible injuries or pain.
Therefore, postural correction exercises can prevent and/or reduce pain so they should be performed to maintain a healthy life.
